(Whitehall, WI, July 26, 2016) – Whitehall Specialties is pleased to announce the acquisition of the property, buildings and equipment of the former Castle Cheese manufacturing facility in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania.
This acquisition represents the company’s fourth processed cheese manufacturing facility. Karl Kramer, President and CEO, states, “the expansive facilities and access to an ample, skilled workforce are ideally suited to support our future growth plans. Additionally, its location will enable us to better service our customers in the eastern U.S. while allowing for increased flexibility and capacity throughout our four-plant network”.
