Whitehall Specialties, Inc. recently introduced a new look, logo and website to better reflect the way it does business and the commitment it has made to help its customers achieve their goals. To further bolster that commitment the company has added 2 new professionals to its team.

Kris High has joined the company as Vice President, International. Kris will focus on helping Whitehall bring the benefits of its innovative products and services to customers outside of North America. Kris has spent the last 13 years heading up sales in South and Central America and the Caribbean for the Specialty Food Ingredients division of the Archer Daniels Midland Company, a $90 billion global agricultural processing firm. “We are very excited that Kris has agreed to join us and bring her knowledge and passion to help us, as well as our potential customers around the world, meet our growth objectives,” says Mike Baroni, Whitehall president and CEO. Kris has a Master’s degree in International and Intercultural Management and is fluent in Spanish.

In order to ensure that Whitehall’s customers and sales teams receive the technical support necessary to succeed, the company has also added to its tech team. Steven Lutzke has joined the company as Technical Sales Manager. Steve has nearly 35 years of experience in food and dairy ingredients and collaborating with cheese makers, culinary chefs, product developers, R&D and technical support staff to create new and improved products, concepts and applications. He spent over thirty years with Chr. Hansen, Inc., a leading supplier of cultures, enzymes, flavors, colors and seasonings to the food and dairy industries. He was most recently with Pharmachem/AVOCA focusing on innovative dairy flavor solutions. Since 2005, Steve has also been an instructor for the Process Cheese Short Course at the University of Wisconsin’s Center for Dairy Research. “We have known Steve for many years as a tremendous technical resource to us when we were a customer of his,” says Baroni. “We wanted to provide the same benefit to our customers and were extremely pleased when Steve decided to join team Whitehall,” he added. “He really enhances our ability to work closely with our customers to develop the understanding that is so necessary to create mutual benefit and true innovation.” Steve holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
