We are searching for a Warehouse Management Systems/Inventory Analyst to work in our Corporate office located in Whitehall, WI!

Whitehall Specialties is a cheese product manufacturer undergoing significant Information Systems and Process changes to better support its manufacturing business. We are a progressively run company with a focus on growth and development of both product and people.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Warehouse Management System professional interested in being part of the team to move the company to the next level of full product costing.

The position reports to the Warehouse Manager.


The Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)/Inventory Analyst serves as the on-site liaison between the operations management team and the Information Technology team. This position will have solutions delivery responsibility on multiple projects/initiatives, leads the on-site configuration of the Warehouse Management System, and provides first tier support to the Distribution Center Management team. Develops and facilitates the introduction of new Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) methods and inventory programs to ensure the efficient operation of each distribution center.  Works directly with Warehouse leaders across all Distribution Centers (4) to maintain, monitor, and update the system’s performance.  Create and maintain system documentation and troubleshoot all WMS system issues.


  • Serves as the key warehouse management system liaison and project manager for all WMS system related needs including implementation, system functionality, upgrades, training and documentation.
  • Make recommendations to management on opportunities for process improvements by leveraging applications in the system.
  • Communicate changes, improvements and modifications to management so that issues and solutions are understood and resolved.
  • Develop, write, and maintain standard operating procedures and training materials related to the warehouse management system (WMS) and inventory management.
  • Design and conduct WMS training for all employees including new hires, transferring employees and ongoing system updates
  • Serves as main point of contact/collaboration with IT/WMS and Operations Management.
  • Design and conduct testing scenarios prior to implementation of new applications.
  • Troubleshoot problems and identify issues as process and/or system and assisting in resolution and subsequent trainings.
  • Produce regular and relevant warehousing reports.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and use WMS standard functionality to support the metrics.
  • Manage and monitor the overall cycle counting process, making sure that all inventory is being counted on a monthly basis.


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3-5 years or more related warehouse analytics/project management experience, preferably in the food industry.

  • Ability to lift and carry office related items up 25 pounds as needed in the office (supplies).

  • Works in cooler environment occasionally for extended periods.

  • Will work in manufacturing/warehousing environments requiring personal protective equipment such as uniform, bump cap, safety glasses and hearing protection.
