- 1 baked and cooled pastry shell
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 T corn starch
- 1 T flour
- 3 cups 2% milk
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 T butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup Whitehall Specialties Banana Fun Flavored Cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Whitehall Specialties Chocolate Fun Flavored Cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- whipped topping
- 1 banana
In a large saucepan, mix together the sugar, salt, cornstarch, and flour. Gradually whisk in milk. Heat mixture over medium heat until it thickens and boils, stirring constantly. Boil two minutes more. Remove from heat. Temper the eggs by slowing stirring about half the mixture into the beaten eggs. Stir continuously. Then, stir the hot egg mixture back into the pudding in the saucepan. Return to heat and boil for 2 minutes more, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in the butter and vanilla. Remove about 1 cup of the pudding mixture and set aside. Stir the Whitehall Specialties Banana Fun Flavored Cheese shred into the pudding in the saucepan until melted. Add half the Whitehall Specialties Chocolate Fun Flavored Cheese shred and chocolate chips in the reserved portion of pudding. Stir until melted. Pour the banana pudding into the bottom of the pastry shell. Carefully spoon the chocolate pudding layer on top. Chill for at least two hours. Top with whipped topping, banana slices, and remainder of the Whitehall Specialties Chocolate Fun Flavored Cheese shred. Enjoy!!
