4 large jalapeno peppers
4 oz Whitehall Specialties 851 Imitation Cream Cheese
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 T fresh cilantro, chopped
4 slices bacon, uncooked
Mix together the Whitehall Specialties 851 Imitation Cream Cheese, garlic salt and cilantro. Set aside. Cut a slit along the side of each pepper; do not cut in half. Microwave the peppers for about one minute until soft enough to open the slit wide enough to clean out the pepper. With a spoon, clean out the inside of the pepper, making sure to remove all the seeds. Stuff each pepper with approximately one ounce of the cream cheese mixture. Seal pepper back up and wrap completely with one slice of bacon, securing with toothpicks if necessary. Bake at 425 degrees for about 20 minutes or until bacon is cooked through and peppers are tender. Remove toothpicks and serve warm.
