Queso Dip with Cilantro and Lime
|Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with classic queso dip!
1 lb. Whitehall Specialties 235 Pasteurized Process Cheese Product
1 can diced tomatoes and green chiles
1 small jar pimentos
1 T chopped fresh cilantro
1 lime, squeezed
dash cayenne pepper and/or chili powder if desired
Cut the Whitehall Specialties 235 Pasteurized Process Cheese Product into small cubes and place in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the can of diced tomatoes and green chiles and the jar of pimentos. Heat, stirring often until hot and cheese is completely melted. Turn heat down to warm. Stir in fresh cilantro, seasoning, and squeeze in the juice of one lime. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
