Cream Cheese Cherry Chocolate Chip Cookies

Specialty Cream Cheese
8 oz Whitehall Specialties 851 Imitation Cream Cheese
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup white sugar
2 large eggs
3 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
1 cup cherry mini baking chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Spray cookie sheets with nonstick cooking spray. In a large mixing bowl, beat Whitehall Specialties Imitation Cream Cheese, butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.  Beat in eggs and vanilla until well blended.  Slowy incorporate the flour, baking powder, and salt.  Fold in the chocolate and cherry chips.  Drop by teaspoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheet.  Bake for about 10 minutes or until the cookies are set and lightly browned on the bottom and along the edge of cookie.
Makes approximately 3 dozen cookies.
