Cookie Dough Dip
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 8 oz. Whitehall Specialties 851 Imitation Cream Cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2/3 cup German chocolate shavings
- graham crackers, gingersnaps, ladyfingers, pretzels, and/or fruit
Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Add dark brown sugar and whisk until sugar dissolves and mixture starts to boil. Remove from heat and set aside to cool. Stir in vanilla extract.
With an electric hand-mixer, blend together Whitehall Specialties 851 Imitation Cream Cheese, powdered sugar, and salt until smooth. With mixer on low, slowly drizzle in the cooled butter and sugar mixture until well combined.
Gently fold in German chocolate shavings with a rubber spatula. Garnish as desired.
Serve the cookie dough dip with cookies, crackers, and/or fruit for dipping.
